On April 9, 2025, a meaningful milestone was reached in Taytay, Rizal, as we officially broke ground on the Holy Spirit Church & Columbarium Complex—a development that blends sacred purpose with lasting legacy. Photo Credits: Antipolensis – Roman Catholic Diocese of Antipolo Located on a 1.6-hectare property along Cabrera Road, the complex will soon rise as a spiritual sanctuary and a place of remembrance for generations to come. This project is being developed by 7 Rose Petals Development Corporation, the same team behind the Shrine of St. Therese of the Child Jesus and St. Therese Columbarium in Newport City, Pasay.
Hamaka Festival is named from a blend of words representing Taytay’s heritage: Hamba (door jamb), Makina (sewing machine), and Kabuhayan (livelihood). Together, they symbolize the gateway to tradition, the industrious spirit, and the creative artistry that define Taytay as the Garments Capital of the Philippines.
